    nVidia GPUs should be less susceptible to the Crypto craze than AMD cards (since AMDs generally provide more bang for the $ in crypto),

    and you can generally avoid the Ethereum craze by buying a GPU with the lowest VRAM you can tolerate (The growing DAG means that lower-VRAM cards will soon be obsolete for Ethereum mining).
