It should! Stick around here and we'll all take care of helping you get started, too. It's a lot harder to get started nowadays. Back in 2013, we didn't need scripts. There wasn't as much competition for tasks, and so you could actually search for HITs and accept them from the results. That's why some requesters still say "click to accept the HIT and then paste in this survey code" at the end -- because back then you were supposed to do the survey first to make sure you were qualified and then accept the HIT to submit it. Can't do that now!

Those are about all I did starting off. No rejections from these requesters. I think you've got to keep in mind that 99% and above is the only approval rate that most people can be okay with. Plenty of good work requires 99%, and the pie's not so big that you want to be leaving those pieces on the table.

 

Oh yes I understand that well. But the issue isn't that newcomers don't understand that. It's that the kind of work that you can do isn't a choice, i don't have options right now. Unless I only wanted to do a couple HITs a day, which would never work, then You have to take some small risks with crappy requestors.

There's over 700 of the HIT I posted for you up-can easily reach your daily limit on it, if you want. Takes 10 seconds, so you can reach 500 in ~16 min

They never reject, just block when you reach limit.

Is your account not finished being set up or are you not US? That one has 0 quals on it. Unless they block you for bad work, anyone can do that.

 

Weird, but no I am in the US. and I mean i've been doing HITs for over a week, so i'd assume it's finished being set up. And idk that they blocked me because I can see their other HITs, (which i don't qualify for)

 

I started back in early July and this turns purple for me too.

 

Weird-the only disqualifications are blocks from previous batches

Yeah that's definitely the right HIT. I just tried to catch it and didn't have any issues. That's so weird.
