I try to wait until after 8 am before switching to vodka...gotta have my standards. But that doesn't mean I can't have an Irish coffee right?

Laphroaig, or Billings HITs all day, every day.

Actually I'm perfectly happy with a number of alternatives. I quite like Lagavulin, Oban, Highland Park, Auchentoshan, and many other fine drams. But this seemed to be the way the conversation was going and I'm trying to fit in. It's hard, being from Australia New Zealand. Dammit, @dan

Props to that brand loyalty survey for naming Dr. Pepper as an example.

Well Ohio's not so bad, I actually think Cincinnati is a beautiful city...it's mostly those highways that dip from 75 to 65, and the cops that sit there looking for MI plates. Plus, my love for U of M is mostly my love for Ann Arbor, considering the circumstances. (I maintain there was a clerical error, but they don't see it that way)

I spent most of my life growing up about 45 minutes away from Charlevoix/Cheboygan...(took a family trip to Sheboygan once, beautiful place, we all drove through some of Door County, everybody else was from Chicago saying "Wow it's so pretty!" and my dad and I were like "Looks like home...relatively unimpressed") Anyways, it seems like everything up here is either 15 minutes, 45 minutes, or 2 hours away, and I've been blessed enough to see a bunch of the Mitt Tip.

To explain the sports choices, my dad is from Idaho. When he was growing up, he picked his teams as a kid and stuck with them. They passed on to me, so I'm LA Rams/LA Dodgers/Boston Celtics, if you can believe it. There were some dark days there, (James Loney Bobblehead Day, anyone?) but I gotta say it's been pretty decent recently, excepting the Dodgers wasting a very talented decade's worth of players. I do claim Detroit sports as my #2's always...there's a long history of good teams with the Pistons and Tigers...and it's a little fun to share in the collective anguish of "rooting" for the Lions.

Well anyways, it's my 2nd day and I have my first question...yesterday I got Hitforker/Panda/MTS all that working, and I'm slowly learning it...I see the panda buttons on the forums when you guys post links, my question is this: if I click a panda on one of those, but the HIT is already used up by then, am I then waiting for it to pop back up? When I first looked at the HIT queue, I got the impression that this was like fastest gun in the West, where if you didn't snap a good one up, it would be gone. Is it pretty common for a HIT to completely refresh, and in that case I want to have the panda going for it? Or is it just learning which requesters repeat HITs and saving those?

Not sure how longwinded this all is in context of this thread, but thank you for all your warm welcomes, and for all the help past and future!
