I've never really thought about snakes as being loud. Sorry to hear about the loud noises.

I hear them slithering above my head and I can hear them eating. Well...I can hear their victims squealing.

 

Have you considered a mongoose? The only thing I know about them is from Riki Tiki Tavi and that was some time ago so this might be terrible advice.

 

I keep asking someone on here to come get rid of them...so far no takers.

I've had red squirrels, flying squirrels, a possum, bats and a bird in attics before, but never, ever a snake.
This sounds terrifying.

I called one person out not too long ago, they didn't resolve the problem. I told my husband to go up there...he didn't resolve the problem. I TRIED going up there myself, but every time I got close, I kept imagining snake fangs going into my eyes as soon as I popped my head in there.

 

But have you tried calling this girl?

 

I would imagine the same thing!
Maybe put an ad in the local paper saying "free snakes - pick up only"

 

We can just hope that they're pretty cool and it doesn't turn into an old lady who swallowed the fly situation.

Yeah, I'm not sure how I'd deal with that. There would probably be a general, as long as they stay in the attic policy.

 

Exactly. They don't bother me all that much until late at night when everything gets quiet and I can hear...everything...

 

I'm going to agree with @IcyTundra on this one. I'm kind of freaking out right now. I've never heard of this. Where do you live? The Amazon or something???

 

If we lived closer my husband would be totally all over getting it out of the attic for you.
He grew up in the woods and my friends all call if there is a bat or squirrel in their houses.
He would definitely look at the snake as a personal challenge.
