Hey y'all! I'm having some weirdness with MTS. When I add to Catcher, the requestor name, hit name and pay are replaced by n/a and only hit number remains. Also, no completed hits showing up in side review panel. Anyone else?

 

Assuming this is what you mean by side review panel? The panel doesn't show any data like time and pay, or dates in the dropdown?



Sounds like the extension. Have you turned it off under chrome://extensions/ ?

Edit: also check to make sure you are not be hindered by the shopping cart CATCHA. Open a new tab and look for/accept a garbage HIT.

 

It is on. It is showing pay and hours data, but below "hide reviewed" where the HITs are usually listed for review is blank. Catcher, Finder still running, just missing the data I described. When it catches a HIT it alerts "hit accepted" but it would usually say the name of the requestor, but that is missing... Just started doing it this morning

Sorry, I don't understand this...

 

If it is not the extension glitching, my assumption is that it cannot call out to Amazon. Amazon has been using their shopping cart CAPTCHA to deter too many page requests instead of using the infamous Website Temporarily Unavailable fiasco of last year. The CAPTCHA can be sneaky, which is why I suggested that you might try to manually accept a garbage HIT that you can return to see if you've been hit by it.



Edit: this is what I mean by it being sneaky. On my Chrome, I was hit by the CAPTCHA, but my QBC is working just fine. But eventually, QBC will try accept a HIT and it will lock up because of the CAPTCHA.

 

I have had the Amazon Captcha in the past when I had Amazon running on more than one computer at the same time, but not today. I can accept hits manually and through catcher. I just manually accepted a hit and returned with no problem. Everything else is working and I am able to accept and complete hits so I am thinking it is a MTS problem.

If so is anyone who uses MTS experiencing this issue?

I will restart everything after lunch and see if that clears it up.

Oh no! I hope "temporarily" doesn't mean what I think it means...
