Is anyone involved with the requester side enough to know if the timings they use to determine if you do something too fast is just the timer attached to the hit or do the sites like Qualtrics etc give them more in depth timings? If I finish and just let the hit sit and cook for a bit before turning in the hit is that enough or does it need to be done during the activity?

Hey man, because I always see you trying to learn, don't take my responses to you as condescending. I like trying to help people who help themselves. So, with that in mind.

Using Google's public DNS [or OpenDNS] is great, but I like to let my router resolve DNS queries [with Google] and then set my systems by hand [Ie, disable Windows DNS, and set your NIC manually to use your router for DNS]. Chrome bypasses the system dns resolver [it seems] so for the most part, there's no downside.

You can find out which of Amazon's IPs gives you least latency by using 'dig' or just robtex. You can then edit your host files [%SYSTEMROOT%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts or /etc/hosts] and add entries for sites you use a whole bunch, like:

Which Chrome/wget/curl/etc all happily use. With your router caching entries, it's fast, but manually doing this is even faster. You save some time with resolution and probably some browser blocking as well [speculation].

Just something to get a little more advantage.

Edit: I'm lazy as fuck, so I have to depend on people to dictate to me. For a few nights now I've been watching JavaScript/developer talks on YouTube. They usually put me to sleep, but I've been having these lucid dreams about coding, so I think that's worth something.
