I'm still wrapping presents. I swore this year would be different. And I did wrap earlier than usual, but here I am still wrapping on Christmas Eve (though it beats when I had nothing wrapped until after the kids went to bed C.E. night.)

 

I just finished 5 minutes ago. I started two weeks ago and ran out of tape. Then I put it off until just now. Bad idea, since we open ours in the morning. I've been wrapping presents and making blankets since 10 o'clock this morning. Santa's done. I don't have anymore energy left to give.

 

I haven't even started yet!!!!

 

It's not real Xmas Eve though, wrapping on Xmas Eve means wrapping at 3am on Xmas morning.

 

I had to make sure I at least had the Christmas eve presents done. We open one gift at night, the rest on Christmas Day. Then tomorrow I have to go grocery shopping (should I take my xanax first?). My dad wants to go to the mall. Is this a guy thing? Wait until the last second? He doesn't like shopping, but he'll go to the mall on Christmas Eve. I don't get it. Then need to finish wrapping, do some pre-cooking, um... I know I'm forgetting stuff.

Done that too. I've filled the stockings half an hour before the kids get up.

One year, my dad was up so late wrapping presents and arranging evidence that Santa had been about, it was already 4 in the morning and he was AMPED.

My sister and I woke up to my dad casually playing the only 2 Christmas albums we owned at the time: South Park Christmas and Mariah Carey Christmas, very loudly at about 4:30 am.

He was just so shocked when we woke up and stumbled downstairs.

These are annoying because they constantly false cap you. If you wait like 30 minutes or an hour, I can't remember the amount of time but you can do more again after that
