12/23 - Soothing Sunday!

Back from running my errands, there was like NO traffic which was wonderful. The biggest traffic jam I was in was at the car wash, I guess all of us are getting our cars spiffied up today (I am ferrying people around tomorrow so thought my 2005 Toy could look a little nicer). But I made record time, spent a mint at the grocery store since the teen boy will be home all day every day for a few weeks and requires food, and now I'm no longer annoyed even though I've kicked my cat in the face twice as she tried to get out the doors (more accurately, she runs face first into my foot that is blocking her exit) and stepped on her once as she was pissed and running around my feet trying to make me fall down to get revenge on me.

 

Here I think it's because it's still church time. Though, the grocery store parking lot had like double the cars in it as I was leaving vs. when I went in, so the earlier services must have let out by then.

But there were almost no cars on the road, even on our really busy roads. It was almost like Superbowl Sunday (literally no one on the road that Sunday. I run errands every year on that day because almost no one is out, it is glorious.)

I just ran over to the grocery store myself for a few last minute things and I was actually in and out super fast despite it being pretty busy. I think I'm set now thankfully.
