    Sweet <3 I'll look and see what might be open around me (also thanks RA).

    I figured it was a longshot, but I am stuck at my dad's (he's not here until tomorrow) and since my oil pressure thing is going off I can't drive my car to go spend the day with my friends like I planned :( I already ate all the mac n cheese my dad had in the house so now I'm kind of out of options for my "Christmas dinner" :emoji_sweat_smile:

    Actually, yeah that happened with Pizza Hut one Thanksgiving.. My dad and I ordered it, started playing video games, then two hours later realized they were accepting online orders but weren't actually open. So dumb, why wouldn't they turn it off??

    If you see a good option call a location near you and see if they are open.

    I would just go to a restaurant, but I figure they will be nuts or stare at me sadly for eating alone. At least with the pizza I'm at home and can watching some of the new anime I just got into lol

    Probably varies store to store since they're mostly franchises AFAIK. So they just leave it up and I guess hope the stores handle it themselves? Dunno but it was mildly inconveniencing enough for me to bad mouth them once/year on the Interwebz lol

    I just can’t comprehend how people aren’t prepared to feed themselves on a national holiday. It happens on the same day every year. It’s not a surprise Christmas.

    It was a complete fluke for me, cuz I had a place to go planned out before my car started acting stupid :emoji_sweat: And I'm pescatarian so I can't have any of the chicken or turkey my dad has on hand. *starts eyeballing the cat food*

    Y'all got me picturing @Buzby huddled over an empty can of tomato soup, shivering under a tattered old blanket patched together from newspaper and scoutit receipts :emoji_sweat_smile:

    Yeah, his GF lives out of state so he's not home often and doesn't feel the need to get groceries. He's also got canned soups (with chicken) and potato chips lol

    I'm gonna gather some courage to call the nearest Dominos and see if they're open
