12/29 - Frantic Friday!

My dad moved us from a big town to a really small town halfway through high school and both schools had cliques like crazy. I missed the bigger school/town though cause I actually had groups I fit into there. I ate my lunch in a teachers classroom/library/literally anywhere other than the cafeteria the last couple years.

So glad I never have to go back to high school NO THANKSSSS!

 

Yeah, well I'm not one of them. I'm fine with that, though. I enjoy being a perennial underachiever.

 

And some of the least successful as well.

 

can we discuss that csat keeps dropping earlier than usual instead of RA's hermit highschool years which were like 5 minutes ago anyway?

 

I went from a small hick town to a slightly larger town. In the small town I was disliked because I was "too damn smart for my skin color" and in the second town I just plain didn't have that many friends.

 

I think motivating to just go to school was successful for me. High-school for me was a blurr, and most time I was stoned, after lunch which was perfect because I would argue with my philosophy teacher for the next hour.

I was a clique nomad.

I played football, programmed computers, was in AP classes that I didn't pay much attention to, and expanded my circle further by hooking up with girls from cliques I'd never been a part of.

So with exception of the group of kids I'd get in fistfights with, I was welcome everywhere but belonged nowhere in particular.

 

I was a class clown if you could ever believe that........... *crickets* My hometown is a tourist infected area. I use to bag groceries, and when I was there last week, I saw a dude that worked there back when I did STILL WORKING THERE. Looked like he didn't age at all. Was very awkward actually.

 

Don't forget the stake and garlic next time you see him.

 

Right.. That considering it was 20 years ago lol
