The pay is all adjusted to match the equivalent in USD, so its not really any advantage unless you keep your payment in GBP and wait for optimal exchange rate times to convert it

 

I ended up blocking this requestor due to the number of unfair rejections they handed out per reddit.

Na, I mean the reqs pay the same on Prolific as they do on MTurk. The payment is in GBP but the req pay amount per study is just the equivalent amount in GBP.

Reqs may be paying slightly different rates between platforms, but its not really because of it being in GBP. Most of the time the reqs will list the pay in the instructions as USD. THe pay amount is pre-determined and it just happens to be paid in GBP

 

The conversion rate makes it more exciting.

 

It's not as bad as it was when the pound just crashed to the ground.

 

Is it? I haven't been paying enough attention since I have so little.
