That would make sense... I went from almost always having multiple studies to pick from (sometimes too many) to getting lucky if one pops up every hour.

 

nah, I made bank on prolific over the weekend. I haven't had much trouble. I think it's demos and the researchers are all trying to put some stuff on connect and some stuff on prolific unsure of which is going to win out. & we're dealing with college kids in the spring, look at how stupid the birds get every day there is good weather and honestly not bragging but I've made $60 since Sunday on turk. I think it's the effort like remembering to check quals and demos and stuff. & maybe having the patience to not block everyone the first time they eff up.

I've missed like 3 days so I'm politely asking Connect for a jury trial today

 

My prolific is literally empty on weekends lol I think I saw a total of 3 surveys all weekend tbh and I had it up at least 8-10 hrs/day on Sat and Sun. Demographics 100% filled. Was most of your work through surveys or quals on Prolific?

 

a little of both but mostly quals

 

but that's literally why you shouldn't completely shy away from the low stuff or chats or what have you, it could be a qual for something.

 

Yeah I used to throw lower studies back and you completely changed my mind. Then I got my first Remesh

I've been trying to take whatever I can get but it's now either few and far between or snatched up before I can get to it. Takes forever to load if I click on something new and by that time it's full. Doesn't help there are usually only a couple places available. I wonder if they're just not looking for my demographics anymore

I feel like women are qual'd more often than men on these surveys based on demos... could be wrong, but I get that impression

 

being in my 40s probably helps too

 

I think prolific is just fuller now too. Not too long ago I'd wake up to 20-30 things waiting for me that I could pick at throughout the day. Only one thing in my demos has changed and now I'm waking up to <10 sometimes <5 things sitting there.

More people, specific demos, requesters moving to one of the other platforms.. it all adds up to less stuff being available to grab
