Made some homemade Banana Oat Muffins today. Fun fact if I haven't already mentioned it, I used to be a baker!
Will give me something to eat off of for next week and so on. This recipe is great, but I used all brown sugar, it's usually best to use half white, half brown in baking recipes period. I only did it to use up my brown and conserve the white sugar. I also added a heavier amount of vanilla, added about 4 good dashes of cinnamon and a few light dashes of nutmeg. I definitely plan on adding about 1/2-3/4 cup of chopped walnuts at least next time, these would be phenomenal then!

SOunds good AF. I love banana anything muffins

Really been craving some freshly baked oatmeal cookies for a couple weeks now

I have literally zero experience baking yet, although I've done a good amount of cooking different foods

 

As they say: "cooking is an art and baking is a science". I've had my fair share of both worlds.

I also meant to mention I did them on 300 degrees for like 15 mins and 275 for 5. Most baked goods you want to low and slow them around those temps. Idc wtf anyone says 350 is too high for most things baking wise, anything beyond that is just insane unless you're roasting something or making a pizza! Its funny you mention that, I just made cranberry white chocolate oatmeal cookies the other day too!

 

Thanks! Yes, they are quite pricey! Definitely a rare treat!
