My sister was legit scared of drains for a few months after we watched It with our dad. Was pretty funny. Don't think I could handle any Pennywise that isn't Tim Curry, to be honest. Don't think I'll ever get around to watching the new It movie, either. First one was a huge disappointment in several ways compared to the book enough, Tim Curry really carried the first adaptation.

And yes, totally different clowns, but Spaulding I found interesting (i'm not a murderer or anything >.>), Pennywise was just something that my dad said lived in the drain of the bathtub if I fell asleep in there

 

I saw some Santa craft things at the Farmers Market so put the tree up

 

I just recently watched both of the movies back to back. I have to say the early film drags on and on because they introduce each kids back story. Completely unnecessary. 90% of the movie is slow moving flashbacks.

Honestly though, we all know who the scariest clown is.

I thought it suffered more because it decided to actually do the whole second part of the novel where they were adults. The book itself does not translate to film well, especially with how the actually ended up with dealing with the clown, but at least the movie tried. It would've been fine with only doing what was functionally half the book, though.
